Databases are useful for websites if you want to accept information through an online form and then save that information for later reference. Databases allow you to search, sort, edit and display vast amounts of information.
And if you don't know if your website needs a database, don't worry -- Crunch42 will let you know. If your site does turn out to require a database, it will need to be designed in such a way as to make it fast, efficient, and secure.
If it makes sense for your business, Crunch42 can create an import and/or export feature so your website can share information with Excel, Access, FileMaker, Act!, or any other third-party database software.
Crunch42 primarily works with the open source MySQL database server and is looking forward to designing your fantastic new database!
