Website Maintenance & Upgrades
Your website may require periodic updating of its content or the addition of new features or pages. You have three options:
- Crunch42 can maintain and/or upgrade your site for you for the standard rate.
- Crunch42 can set up an easy to use website administration system for you that allows you to make text changes right in your browser. You'll also be able to manage links, upload files, and more. This option costs more up-front but then after the site launches there are no more ongoing maintenance fees. This option is so easy to use a client recently reported, "Just a note before I force myself to go to bed . . . this editing and managing the web site is too much fun!"
- If your budget for website maintenance is zero and all you want to do is make changes to your site's text, links, and maybe images, you can learn to use the free software called Nvu to make the changes yourself. Find out more about Nvu. Nvu isn't the simplest thing to set up and use, but it is free. Note that at this price, you'll need to install and learn it by yourself. If you have $150 you can instead buy Adobe Contribute, which does the same thing as Nvu but is much easier to use. Contribute will also allow you to edit pages that end with .php or .asp, which is something Nvu can't do properly.
